How is material quantity computed?
Quantity = measure × material per measured unit × (1 + waste %). Example: 20 m² of tiling with 10% waste → 22 m² to order. Cost and weight follow automatically from the unit price and weight.
Is labor included?
Not in this version: BTP Calc estimates materials (quantity, cost, weight). Labor (hourly rate / flat fee per line) is planned for a future update.
Are the catalog values reliable?
They are indicative values (price, yield, weight) to get started fast. You can adjust them per line and create your own materials with your real prices.
What is the error margin for?
It gives an estimate range around the total (± X%), to present a careful figure rather than one misleading number.
Is my data synced?
Yes, via your private iCloud if enabled. Your jobs and prices stay on your devices; they never go through our servers.
